Kamloops
The Thompson Valley region has introduced two very exciting markets.
Kamloops Farmers Market established roots in the city in 1978. The main goal of the organizers initially was to address the gap in the disjointed food system. At the time, it had become a globally known concern, and locally, the community wanted to make a change. Fast forward 45 years, and the market has become a major success. The Kamloops Farmers Market invites you to gather, share and inspire through food and community.
This spring, the outdoor market will occur every Saturday beginning on April 22nd and run unil October 28th. Located at 200 block of St Paul St. and the Stuart Wood schoolyard, the market operates from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. An additional market will be held on Wednesdays starting May 5th and running until October 25th. This market will operate from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, at 400 block of Victoria St. (in front of the TNRD Library)
Can’t make it in person? No worries; the Kamloops Regional Farmers Market Society has got you covered. Through the Kamloops Farmers Market website, there is an online option to order and purchase right from your home. You can learn more about the initiatives and events they’ve started, or how to become a volunteer or vendor by visiting their website.
Kamloops is also the home of the Kweseltken Farmers & Artisan Market. This Indigenous market features fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, fish, crafts, and prepared food. “Come for the freshness, stay for the fun”

To grow a sense of community for the people of Sorrento
To stimulate traffic within the downtown core area.

Located in the Sorrento Shoppers Plaza, this market focuses on farmers and foodies that offer an incredible array of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, organic meats, delicious baking, as well as wine and beer.
