Shuswap
The Shuswap is home to the beautiful Shuswap lake made up of four arms, the Shuswap Lake Main Arm, Salmon Arm, Anstey Arm, and Seymour Arm. With over 1,000 kilometres (621.39 Miles) of shoreline to park your boat for the night, it is known as one of the best house boating lakes in Canada.
Along with it’s incredible beaches and warm water, the Shuswap is surrounded by pine forests, pristine grasslands, and Hoodoos. It offers countless activities like golf, hiking, wineries, camping, farmer’s markets, and festivals. It is home to British Columbia’s largest sockeye salmon run in the Adams River. This is a wonderful place for families and anyone else looking to be surrounded by breathtaking nature and endless adventure.
This region is located midway between Vancouver B.C. and Calgary AB along Highway #1.
