A Shuswap Itinerary

The Shuswap is home to the beautiful Shuswap lake made up of four arms, the Shuswap Lake Main Arm, Salmon Arm, Anstey Arm, and Seymour Arm. With over 1,000 kilometers (621.39 Miles) of shoreline to park your boat for the night, it is known as one of the best house boating lakes in Canada. This is a wonderful place for families and anyone else looking to be surrounded by breathtaking nature and endless adventure.

Itinerary Snapshot:

  • Day 1: Depart Kelowna for Salmon Arm, visit the Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers’ Market, get takeout from Still Food Bistro, and enjoy lunch at Northyards Cider Co. Later you’ll visit Salmon Arm Arts Centre, and explore downtown before dinner then check into Quaaout Lodge & Spa.

  • Day 2: Breakfast at Quaaout Lodge, take a cultural tour of the lodge, lunch at Ranchers Pizzeria, hike in Tsútswecw Provincial Park and Margaret Falls, and have dinner at Jack Sam’s Restaurant & Lounge.

  • Day 3: Have breakfast, check out of Quaaout Lodge & Spa, and return to Kelowna, with an optional coffee stop at House of Armstrong.
