The South Okanagan Similkameen Pride is hosting a stores night where you can come out and listen to stories shared by 2SLGBTQIA+ people from Summerland. They are partnering with the Summerland Museum for this event to raise awareness that the museum archives lack 2SLGBTQIA+ representation because of historical discrimination and societal views that made it unsafe for people to be out.
